The power will flow into the grid-tie GoodWe 5kW inverter, where the GoodWe inverter will converts your solar array energy into usable AC power for your home when the modules are generating energy. Coupled with the solar array and ac-power, the LG Home 8 ESS can deliver up to 7.5kW of power to your loads, allowing for self-consumption, providing reliable energy and storage of excess power from the solar array. The built-in Power Management System in the LG Smart energy box provides the optimal charging/discharging operation by monitoring the home power usage status, PV power generation, grid power status and consumer electricity plan.
